Platform for 2nd Term March 2008

• Find new resources to place more deputies on patrol.

• We will continue to alleviate the high student truancy rates by working closely with HISD and the Precinct 7 Justice of the Peace court.

• Continue to pursue grants to obtain a “Sex Offender Unit” for Precinct 7.

• We will organize and implement more “Zero Tolerance” initiatives in Precinct 7.

• We will maintain a strong working partnership with the city of Houston Neighborhood Protection department by removing abandoned vehicles on the streets and in the yards in Precinct 7

• We will formulate a plan to have more enforcement to rid the community of 18 wheelers parked in residential areas.
